Kasargod: Woman dies after being hit by train while crossing track

Kasargod, Mar 2: A 27-year-old woman working as a lab technician at Manjeshwar taluk hospital, died on Wednesday evening after being hit by a train at Uppala railway station.

The deceased person is P Aishwarya.

Aishwarya was crossing the railway track to return home to Neeleshwar after finishing work for the day. The oncoming train struck her and she died on the spot.

Aishwarya was the wife of Vipin, owner of Neeleshwara Devan Arts.

The Manjeshwar police conducted a spot inspection.
