Mangaluru- Hubballi air services to be discontinued from March 12

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Mar 4: Air services between Mangaluru and Hubballi that began in May 2022 will be stopped from March 12.

Air Indigo has decided to stop the service as the passengers are less in number on this route. The flight used to run between the two important commercial cities of Hubballi and Mangaluru on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Officials of Indigo informed that the demand was not as expected on this route and hence they are calling off the service. Priority will be given to the Hubballi-Pune sector, which is high in demand.

Request to the Indigo officials please get a route to cochin. You will 100% succeed. I don't know why you have not thought of this route. All trians are going jam packed. At least survey and then decide. It's very difficult for the public who have some emergency needs. .

Bus services in Karnataka are far better than Maharashtra. Obviously people prefer road to air travel within the state.

Mohan, Dubai You are right. According to Nalin Anna one rupee is going to be equal to 15 dollars. Till such time we may have to keep the flights on hold. Once it happens the world',s largest aircraft may land in Shimoga. Best of luck dear. Keep your fingers crossed
