Kundapur: Pedestrian waiting to cross the road hit by scooter, dies on the spot

Kundapur, March 4: A pedestrian waiting to cross the road near Sastan bus stand on NH 66 was hit by a passing scooter on Friday evening. The pedestrian identified as Narayana died on the spot.

The scooter rider was also injured in the accident. Both the scooter rider and the pedestrian were shifted to Brahmavar Mahesh Hospital.

The doctor declared the pedestrian as brought dead. The scooter rider is being provided treatment.

A case in this connection has been registered at Kota police station.
