Udupi: Auto rickshaw driver goes missing from Kuthyaru, complaint filed

Udupi, Mar 29: Shailesh K Prabhu (44), a bus driver of a school in Kuthyaru has gone missing since Monday, March 27, in the morning. Prabhu who resides near the Kuthyaru branch of Bank of Baroda had bought an auto rickshaw last month and was working as an auto driver as well.

He left home on Monday at 9:30 am after a passenger hired his auto but did not return home for lunch that afternoon. When his wife Ambika called him, Prabhu informed her that he would return after delivering food to a bank staff but did not return home nor answered calls on his phone from his wife. Prabhu's phone continued to ring till 10 am on March 28, Tuesday, after which his phone got switched off.

His wife Ambika made enquiries with all relatives to know about his whereabouts. But, she could not get any information or clues about him.

Ambika filed a missing complaint with the Shirva police and a case has been registered.
