Puttur: Car hits road divider, woman dead, husband, son seriously injured

Puttur, Mar 30: In a road mishap that occurred on Thursday March 30 morning at Karbasanka near Nelyadi, a woman died while her husband and son were seriously injured as their car hit a road divider.

The deceased is identified as Annapurna (50). Her husband and son Ashwin were seriously injured and were admitted to hospital.

The trio were travelling from Bengaluru to Mangaluru while Annapurna’s husband lost control over the car and hit the divider.

Uppinangady police visited the spot and began investigation.

    Very pathetic and careless four laning work by KNR Constructions is reason behind this not the driver lost control .. If there is proper signs of deviation maintain good road where there is a deviation this could have avoided .. MP and MLA is not interested in raising the question, I have travelled in another state where KNR is doing four laning work there they use proper and big signs for deviation and maintain proper road where ever there is a deviation.. Not here for political discussion.. anyone can check other projects of KNR and search in YouTube and find how they maintain the road there
