Dubai: Kannada Patashaale's 9th anniversary valedictory function invitation released

Dubai, Apr 13: The invitation card for the valedictory function of the ninth anniversary of the Kannada Patashaale organised by the Kannada Mitraru UAE was released at the Fortune Atrium hotel.

The invitation was released by main sponsors Praveen Kumar Shetty and Mohan Narasimhamurthy in the presence of president Shashidhar Nagarajappa, vice-president Siddalingesh, secretary Sunil Gavaskar, joint secretary Shivasharanappa Meti, treasurer Nagaraja Rao Udupi, organising secretaries Vijay Kumar and Guru Prashant.

Mohan Alva, who is known as Bheeshma of the educational sector of the Kannada land, will be the chief guest for the function that will be held at 4.30 pm on Saturday, April 29.

The programme will be presented by students and teachers of Paata Shaale. Hucchamma Basappa Chowdri, who has donated his entire property to the Kannada school, and Rajani Krishna Rao, Kannada language word expert are selected for this year’s Kannada Mitra – 2023 award. They will be awarded a plaque and cash prize in the programme.

The announcement of Smart Class, which the UAE Kannadigas will provide through their donations to the government Kannada schools under the project ‘Kadalinacheya Karunadige’, will be done by Kannada Mitraru.

The programme is open to all Kannadigas and the organisers have requested people's participation to make the programme a grand success.
