Udupi: No violations of model code of conduct by Annamalai – Election officer

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Apr 17: “There were no violations of model code of conduct in the helicopter, car or hotel room of Annamalai,” said Udupi election officer Seetha.

In a press release, Seetha stated that Annamalai arrived in Udupi via helicopter at 9:55 am on April 17, and that the helicopter and the bag he carried were inspected by FST-III team head Raghavendra and Vijaya, MCC nodal officer of 120 Udupi Vidhan Sabha, who found no material that violated the model code of conduct.

After leaving the hotel and announcing his intention to visit the Kaup constituency, the SST team conducted inspections again at Udyavar check post. Annamalai arrived at the Ocean Pearl hotel near Kadiyali around 2 pm, and inspections were conducted at every stage, with no violations found.

This announcement comes after Kaup Congress candidate Vinay Kumar Sorake alleged that Annamalai had brought a large sum of cash by helicopter to distribute to the people of Udupi.

Sorake is for sure knowing that he cannot stand in front of Annamalai, who once sweeped all the dirt from the twin district and brought peace in twin district. Also possible, during Annamalai's time, Sorake might have had to face him for the charges that was put on him. Sorake is feeling guilty and thus want to demafe an honest officer.

WHEN RULING DISPENSATION becomes Judge, jury and executioner -- this verdict expected---- for a poor country like India -- canvassing by helicopter by mere party officials--- not Prime minister -- or CM -- is it such a big event for helicopter-- unbelievable -- earlier going in taxi itself luxury -- 10 people crowded in a car-- one can imagine costs -- funding etc -- no traction on electoral bonds -- who is funding etc -- all silence -- the key point -- is rich are getting richer by cornering all in society --& pocketing unscrupulous politicians------- poor are gullible-- helpless--
