Congress’ Prasadraj Kanchan files nomination from Udupi constituency

Udupi, Apr 18: Congress candidate Prasadraj Kanchan filed his nominations on Monday April 17 here at Udupi taluk office.

Before filing the nomination, a party workers meet was organized in Udupi Congress Bhavan. Thousands of party workers participated in the meet.

‘Mission Udupi 23’ manifesto was also released on the occasion. Prasadraj Kanchan has promised to make Udupi, a brand city.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Addressing the media, he said, “I want to thank Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and KPCC president D K Shivakumar and opposition leader Siddaramaiah for giving me the opportunity to contest from Udupi constituency. In the last five to ten years, our government is running on corruption, we need to stop this. Development of industries, fisheries, tourism and education will be my top priorities. Today’s young voters need representatives who will suit their mentality. Hence, the party has given tickets to young minds all over the state. Already, 35 star campaigners have been selected and soon the list will come to us. Star campaigners are surely visiting our constituency too.”

Sarala Kanchan, mother Ramesh Kanchan, president Udupi block Congress Dinakar Heroor, and president Brahmavar block Congress Vinay Kumar Sorake accompanied Parasadraj Kanchan while filing the nomination.

A huge rally was also organized from Udupi district Congress Bhavan to Udupi taluk office ealier.
