Kadaba, Apr 18: Four people including a child died after two cars collided with each other here on Uppinangady-Subramanya near Nettana on Tuesday April 18 afternoon.

The deceased are identified as Ullas (28), Ganesh (26), Tanvik (4) and Netravati (28), residents of Tagare and Chandanahalli of Belur taluk in Hassan. 

An Alto car and a Toofan jeep collided head-on in the accident.

 

Several others also sustained critical injuries in the accident. The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Both the vehicles were damaged in the accident.

    Feel very sad when we hear such accidents ,mostly negligent when children in car.High speed ,driving wrong direction than allowed.otherwise how can two cars collide from opposite direction headon ?One must have come from wrong direction.May the souls rest in peace .Hope others will get well soon .Many times without rest they travel ,for long distance.Then they are tired and secunden sleep they say ,fall without their knowledge in sleep and might car goes wrong direction or collide with others.
