Udupi, Apr 21: District Congress President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor announced that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Udupi district on April 27. Rahul Gandhi will be addressing the fisherman's community in Uchilla to understand their problems and sufferings. "Star campaigner and KPCC President DK Shivakumar will be visiting Udupi district on April 23 and 24," he added.

DK Shivakumar will address a public rally in Byndoor on April 23 and visit Kollur temple. A huge roadshow is also scheduled for April 24, in which DK Shivakumar will travel from Udupi City bus stand to Ajjarkad and address a public meet in Ajjarkad. Over 10,000 people are expected to participate in these events.

"All five candidates have filed their nominations, and the vigorous campaign will be taking place in the days ahead. There's a Congress wave in the district, and we will ensure to win all five constituencies. The youth are with Congress as they are facing various problems," Ashok Kumar Kodavoor said.

Several Congress leaders, including Prasadraj Kanchan, Udupi constituency candidate MA Gaffur, KPCC member Ramesh Kanchan, Udupi block Congress president Kishan Hegde Kolkebailu, working president Udupi Congress Dinakar Herror, Brahmavar block president Prakhyath Shetty, vice president district Congress Hareesh Kini, Amruth Shenoy, Narasimha Murthy, and others were present during the press meet.
