Mangaluru: DC Ravikumar M R receives telephone threats, case filed

Mangaluru, Apr 23: A case has been filed after deputy commissioner Ravikumar M R reported receiving threats over the phone from an unknown individual.

The perpetrator reportedly used profane language and threatened the DC's life during the call, which took place while the latter was in a meeting with election officials.

According to the DC's complaint, the caller was a stranger who verbally abused him and made the threats during the call.

The case is currently under investigation.
