Mangaluru: Mortal remains of used cars dealer reported missing found at Someshwara beach

Mangaluru, April 27: The mortal remains of the owner of a used cars dealer Vasanth Ameen (49), a resident of Ullal Dharmanagar was found at Uchila, Someshwara sea shore on Thursday, April 27.

His car, mobile phone and shoes were at Someshwara sea shore in the afternoon on April 26. Locals had seen him jumping into the sea from Rudrapade. Therefore, it was suspected to be a suicide. His body has been found near Uchila.

Vasanth had a shop selling second hand cars near Jayashree Gate, Bikarnakatte. He had telephoned his staff informing them that he will not come as he was suffering from fever. However, he had ended his life in the afternoon. The cause for taking the extreme step is yet to be known.

He had constructed a new house at Dharmanagar a few months ago. He is survived by his wife, a daughter and his parents.
