Kasargod: Manjeshwar police arrest accused in several criminal cases

Kasargod, May 2: Manjeshwar police arrested an accused wanted in several cases.

Abdul Hameed, alias Gujri Ammi (38), a resident of Uppala Attegoli, is the arrested accused.

Hameed had an arrest warrant issued against him for threatening police personnel while brandishing a revolver and for ganja peddling.

According to police sources, Hameed has more than 30 criminal cases pending against him in both Kerala and Karnataka states. The arrest was made at Bayar Beripadav on Tuesday evening after receiving definite information. Although he attempted to flee by ramming his car into the police vehicle, police successfully apprehended him.
