Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, May 7: The mortal remains of a baby girl were discovered near the government pond in Tirlapalke, within the jurisdiction of Belle gram panchayat near Shirva on the morning of May 6.

Ashok, a member of the first ward of Belle gram panchayat, immediately informed the Belle gram panchayat president, Sudhakar Poojary, upon making the discovery. The body was found lying beside the pond, leading to suspicions that the baby may have been intentionally disposed of by her parents or guardians.

A case has been registered at the Shirva police station in connection with this incident.

Feel very sad to hear such incidents.Illegal or legal, baby was in mothers womb for 9 months ,she delivered and abandoned now?No feelings for a innocent child?Baby did nothing but was thrown off .If they /she didnt want a child ,whatever the reason is ,kindly give that to a person who would like to have it ,or a Ashram where they lookafter and give a shelter. But dont kill or throwaway like thrash.May the soul may be with angels above.

This is a sad news. those who had thrown this innocent and helpless child in a pond must be punished by hanging. 'Every tree will find a place to grow and branch out'......you are not to destroy helpless. This child was created by illegal relationship for sure. At least allow it to grow if you cant do that.
