Devotees crowd at Kollur, Subramanya temples on weekend

Kundapur/Sullia, May 22: As the summer vacation is getting over, tourists are thronging tourist spots and temples of coastal region. Huge crowds of devotees were noticed in Kollur Mookambika and Kukke Subramanya temples on Saturday and Sunday.

Over 15,000 devotees were present at Kollur Mookambika temple on Sunday afternoon. The queue extended up to the main road.

Security personnel of the temple had a tough time managing the devotees.

Kukke Sri Subramanya temple also saw a huge crowd of devotees on Sunday. On Saturday too, there was a long queue of devotees. There was a heavy rush of people at the darshan of God and lunch hall. Temple authorities made suitable arrangements to avoid any inconvenience to the devotees. Traffic congestion was noticed in the main town area and parking lots.

Devotees were also seen in large numbers at Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala, Udupi Sri Krishna Math and Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari temple.
