Mangaluru, Jun 2: An employee of Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) office ended his life at the place of his work in the afternoon on Friday June 2.
The deceased is identified as Keerthan Alape (36), a resident of Padil.
His lifeless body was found hanging in the store room of his office. The reason for the extreme step is unknown.
Urwa station police visited the spot and conducted inspection.
It is said that Keerthan, a SDA staff, arrived at the office in the morning on Friday as usual.
