If I am a Block Education Officer, I would arrange her pension documents a few days before retirement and hand over the pension approval letter on the day of her retirement. This is the least a higher officers can do for her service.

Dont worry, she will come out soon and go back to the system as entire system is corrupt top to bottom. Corruption can be avoided only if the people top of the hierarchy in every system desires so, otherwise any number of anti corruption squads is useless as only few people are getting caught . Every function of Govt & Semi Govt offices in india are in stake , so the envelopes/packets / parties /trips...... list goes on

OMG. Corruption at its height! Just to get pension one has to bribe? Law needs a change. The onus of proving innocence should be on accused person in corruption case and it should be non-bailable offence. What next? A cut on employee salary? It is like mafia.
