If heavy rains can cause such a loss to MESCOM, am wondering what will losses be, if we really do have a hurricane situation year on year. Instead of doing a low quality work, or patch fixing work, the govt and MESCOM should look at revamping the overhead poles and cables and move them to underground cables, if it can improve their situation and better manage the infrastructure.

After collecting regular monthly payment not providing power for a week or a month how much we lose. Do MESCOM understand our problem . Only know to collect the money but not doing maintenance job on time . If Maintenance is done on time MESCOM can avoid this loss .

Please tell us the amount collected by way of maintenance charges or fix charges in a year. When something happens in a month you know to make noises and garner support to increase tariff.

Mescom always wakes up only after disasters strike. Nothing new....it is indirect looting by the contractors and suppliers to Mescom and everyone gets the piece of the pie.
