Mangaluru: Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi honors meritorious students of SSLC, PUC

Mangaluru, Aug 20: The Service Commission and Education Commission of Infant Mary Parish, Bajjodi jointly organised a felicitation programme for meritorious as well as passed out SSLC and PUC students of the 2022 -23 batch on August 20.
 
The programme began at 7.45 am with a prayer song by the commission members. Grippen D'Souza welcomed the chief guest and the gathering.
 




















 
The chief guest, Fr Dominic Vas, in his message, spoke on the importance of good education and explained why and how one must focus on a higher goal and take the right direction for a good future. SSLC and PUC students with distinction were felicitated with a memento and cash prize and all successful students were felicitated with a memento each.
 
Fr Rayan Pinto, deacon Br Siltan Noronha, PPC vice-president Prakash Saldanha, secretary Elizabeth Pereira, co-ordinator of all Catholic commissions Ronald Goveas, co-ordinator of Education Commission Renita  D'Souza, secretary of the commission Shanthi Fernandes, co-ordinators and members of all commissions, ward gurkars and parishioners were present for the programme and congratulated the students and their parents. John Pais proposed a vote of thanks.
