Four techies working with Accenture, Infosys killed in accident on Bengaluru-Mangaluru road

Mandya, Sep 27 (IANS): Four techies working with Accenture and Infosys were killed on the spot on Wednesday after their speeding car hit a Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus.

Namitha and Raghunath Bhajanthri worked with Accenture and Pankaj and Vamsi worked with Infosys.

The incident took place near Bellur cross on Bengaluru-Mangaluru National Highway (NH -75) in Mandya district of Karnataka.

According to police, the bodies were pulled out from the mangled car. Unfortunately some are commenting adversely .. like marriage no responsibility erc etc First a needless tragedy .. how exactly it happened is for investigation but now only all speculating.... the very fact these youngster s were in jobs of reputed companies means they studied hard / worked hard ..otherwise would not get into such competitive jobs .... Jobs have lot of stress .. so need breaks to get back into right mindset ....so loose comments are not in good taste .... How many are happy in marriage......all is well after marriage.. ? Not necessary....... Also .... accidents don’t happen even if one is married .. ??so all needless armchair philosophers...

Our highways are not designed with safety in mind ... Each part of India driving has its challenges.. one should realise highway driving is different from city driving ...India has worlds highest road accidents...Mysore expressway speed reduced for same reasons... A bus stop on the highway ..various other hazards .. long list ..people coming from opposite direction .. cyclists .. dogs . Cattle .. high beam lights .. no signs .. suddenly road repairs deviation.. etc Now possibly this case ..There should have been a proper area for buses if at all to park or take service road ..for passengers to alight ... Added today’s cars travel at 120 kms per hour .. plus plus ...any brand any model .. Hence a mere one or two seconds loss of concentration taking eyes off .. can be fatal .. so even if roads are good unless concentrating should drive with care ALL IN ALL A GREAT TRAGEDY .. All at their prime and now lives gone Close ones .. parents .. kith and Kin suffer in this loss .. all one can say RIP ..

Very sad and unfortunate incident. The Bangalore Hassan stretch is really good for driving. Many get tempted to overspeed on this road. Alertness and maintaining safe distance is key. I have driven alone from Bangalore to Udupi and vice versa more than 10 times.

Between 30-35 I think they still not married. Their intention to enjoy life. Could have consumed alcohol. Now the generation is like that. They earn lakhs and lakhs No responsibility Don't listen to parents No interest in marrriage Because they already see the world before marriage And question themself what special kept in marriage Let's enjoy life Devil is very active

The cause foe this type of accident is not only reckless driving but also lack of alertness and attention while driving. May the departed souls rest in eternal peace.

One of the main causes of this accident is having bus stop on the main carriage way of the so called highways and expressways. These buses derive some sadistic pleasure stopping the bus, often suddenly, on the driving lanes and block traffic . They will also stop wherever they want at will. If the car driver is not alert and able to brake adequately, this is what will result. And for all those saying car driver is at speed, then for what is so much money wasted on building 4-6lane expressways? If every body is supposed to go slow, might as well manage with a 2 lane single carriageway. Govt can save a lot of money.
