Kundapur, Oct 27: In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded in Tallur, Kundapur taluk, a seventh-grade boy, who had celebrated his birthday just the previous day, succumbed to a heart attack today.

The young boy, identified as Pruthwiraj Shetty, was the son of Arun Kumar Shetty, who serves as an Akshara Dasoha officer in Kundapur. Pruthwiraj Shetty was a seventh-grade student at Hattiangadi Siddivinayaka School.

Pruthwiraj, who had celebrated his birthday with joy on the previous day, was waiting for his school bus, accompanied by his mother as was the routine. However, he suddenly experienced severe chest pain and immediately informed his mother. He was promptly rushed to Manipal Hospital, but regrettably, he passed away before reaching the hospital.

This unfortunate tragedy adds to the Shetty family's heartache, as Pruthwiraj's elder sister, an eighth-grader, had suffered a similar fate, succumbing to a heart attack in school on October 27 last year. The family of Arun Kumar Shetty is devastated by the loss of their only son this year, compounding their grief.

Note that he had to be rushed to Manipal. A good hospital in Kundapura might have saved time and life. We need better hospitals in all taluk headquarters. We need hospitals not bronze statues.

Two deaths in the same family points to Congenital Heart Disease-CHD.

Monty; CHD will definitely have many warning symptoms before a big event for even any ordinary physician to suspect it; moreover; many such incidents of sudden cardiac deaths have been recorded in families which can never be a coincidence! It might be highly possible that their genetic setup has something to do with the jab?

Most of the CHD have a genetic predisposition, gene defects are known to skip one generation, unless genetic engineering and gene mapping advances, we have to keep our fingers crossed.

Mya his soul rest in peace and strenghtn to hos family and dear once. What is the Difference Between Sudden Cardiac Arrest & Heart Attack? Heart attacks (myocardial infarction) are caused by coronary artery disease. Not enough blood can get to the heart muscle because the coronary arteries are blocked. Part of the heart dies because of lack of blood. Cardiac arrest is when your heart stops effectively pumping blood to the body. A heart attack can cause cardiac arrest. But many other things can also cause a cardiac arrest. In young people, some forms of congenital heart disease (CHD) can cause a cardiac arrest. A person is born with CHD. By contrast, coronary artery disease is “acquired” — often through a combination of lifestyle and genetic factors.

If it was CHD, one of his parents would have had issues with the heart, or he himself would have definitely had issues classical to CHD (it will have prodromal symptoms)to indicate to the parents to go for his checkup??

What is happening these days??Some says because of vaccination some says because of paraffin mixed cooking oil. I think since this boy is small he didn't took vaccination. So government has to take special interest and check their food.

I wonder why when an eighth grade girl died from presumable heart attack ( I guess it is cardiac arrest rather than heart attack as it is very unusual to have heart attack at this age) , why all her blood relatives get checked for genetic heart disorders? There must be some genetic heart disorder, some hard to detect, prevailing in the family. The diseases like ARVD, Brugada, WPW to name few, could be responsible at this age. If anyone knowns the family, please ask them to get checked all the blood relatives asap.
