Moodbidri, Nov 15: Deepavali, the festival of lights was celebrated with full zest and zeal at Carmel School on November 10. 

Deepavali is a festival of lights and symbolises the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance. Various competitions like rangoli, lantern, candle, wallhanging were conducted to celebrate this auspicious festival of lights. 

The classrooms were also decorated with floral rangoli and coloured diyas. The festive vibes filled the ambience with joy and happiness. Children were also served ice cream.
