Udupi police hailed for nabbing murder suspect within 72 hrs of crime

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Nov 15: A collective sigh of relief swept through the Udupi district as the perpetrator behind the murder of four members of the same family was apprehended on November 15. The district had been shrouded in sorrow since the incident came to light on Sunday, November 12, casting a somber tone over the Deepavali festivities. Credit is due to the Udupi district police for their dedicated teamwork, collaborating with law enforcement agencies from neighboring districts and Belgavi.

Upon learning of the incident, Udupi SP Dr. Arun K swiftly organized five teams, later supplemented by additional special teams. Despite the approaching festival of lights, the entire district police force set aside Deepavali celebrations to meticulously track down the elusive perpetrator.

While preparations for the auspicious occasion were underway for many, the incident had cast a pall not just over one family but over the entire community. Innocent lives, including children, were lost in this tragic event.

Amidst the festival celebrations, the entire district police team worked tirelessly to unravel the mystery behind the brutal murders. Despite mounting pressure from various quarters, the police department successfully apprehended the suspects within 72 hours of the incident.

Udupi SP-formed teams ventured to Shivamogga, Bengaluru, and even Kerala to trace potential suspects, leading to the detention of several individuals. Public and organizational pressure added urgency to the investigation, challenging the department to expedite the process and apprehend the culprits.

In the face of these challenges, Udupi police rose to the occasion, successfully using technical evidence and human intelligence to apprehend the suspect. This accomplishment deserves unreserved praise.

The district's residents have voiced their appreciation for the police work during this challenging time. Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna also has extended congratulations to the department for their swift and effective action.

Welldone by Udupi police department. You have arrested the culprit within 72 hours. Hats off to you. I don't understand even in this horrific murder case some comments still protect and inbetween lines protect. Particular usual commentators fail to condemn the act and appreciate police department.

Hats off to SP Dr. Arun K & his team & counter part police department's Our Karnataka polices are the best . Unfortunately our Corrupted minsters don't allow to do their duties in a sincere way. Of course there are corrupt policers . That's everywhere in 100 tomatoes 2 have to be spoilt . The incident had cast a pall not just over one family but over the entire community. Innocent lives, including children, were lost in this tragic event. Here nobody thought about religion. But if it was vice versa some Hindu outfit organizations some minsters would have done a press meet & protest & made a big Ruckus . But it is sad that MP nor MLA nor District IN charge nor Shobha uttered one condolence word to this Family . Hats of to Karnataka police team

Of course .I really accept it.Yes they can if they want ,can work seriously and nab the culprits:Other side they have the habit of sometime harass the people unnecessarily .dont file complaint when one wants too should be considered. Why dont they accept that.?Only success ?Not their mistakes?Dont we read yesterday or day before ,one person even suicided ,because they harassed him so much couldnt bear and went home and ablazed self?Come on Police ,be polite to citizens .They want help from you ,in their utter situation .Only success ,but also accept you do failures.
