Daijiworld Media Network – Rajasthan (MS)

Rajasthan, Feb 17: Driven by a deep-seated passion for public service, Mudita Sharma made the bold decision to leave behind her lucrative career as a doctor and pursue a path as an IAS officer.

Originally from Merta, Rajasthan, Mudita was raised in a family where education was highly valued. Both her father, a teacher in a government school, and her mother emphasized the importance of academic achievement. This focus on education bore fruit when Mudita secured the 15th rank in the state during her 10th-grade examinations, all while attending a government school.

Continuing her commitment to education, Mudita completed her 11th and 12th grades at a government school before pursuing a degree in MBBS from SN Medical College, Jodhpur. Following her graduation, she found employment at a private hospital in Jaipur. Despite finding fulfillment in her medical career, Mudita felt a calling to serve a broader community as an IAS officer.

With unwavering determination, Mudita embarked on the rigorous journey of preparing for the UPSC examinations. Her dedication paid off when she achieved an impressive rank of 381 in her very first attempt, realizing her childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer.
