Mangaluru: Police intensify search in Bengaluru for missing PhD student amid allegations

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Mar 1: A team of police, including personnel from the Ullal police station, has intensified their search in Bengaluru for the missing PhD student, Chaithra.

Ullal VHP and BD leaders have submitted an appeal to ACP Dhanya Nayak, urging her to consider the missing case as serious.

Chaithra went missing on February 17 from her rented accommodation in Madoor. She left her scooter in Suratkal. Initially, the police treated the case as a usual missing person's case and began searching for Chaithra. However, Hindu organizations pressured the police, threatening to hold protests, accusing a youth suspected of drug peddling of involvement in Chaithra's disappearance.

Police obtained information suggesting that Chaithra was in Bengaluru based on her mobile phone's location data. CCTV footage from the Majestic bus stand in Bengaluru showed her disembarking from a bus there. The police express confidence in locating Chaithra within the next two days.

Meanwhile, the young man from Puttur, accused of being involved in drug peddling and having contact with Chaithra, is also missing. His mobile phone is switched off. It remains uncertain whether Chaithra and the young man are together or in different locations. The Ullal police are continuing their investigation.

Hindu organisation leaders met with ACP Dhanya Nayak, alleging that Chaithra was kidnapped under the influence of drugs by Love Jihad forces. They urged the police to swiftly apprehend the culprits.

It looks like she disappeared or gone with her own will.Dont want to come in contact with her family because something here is missing or their permission?Every missed person is not a jihad case ,police are now on the search because someone is urging to strike?Sad ,Police should have done this of their own.Important now is she is fine and returns back without any problems.Girls are going missing becuase some Persons are against their will to marry or choose their partners self.

Whatever happened must have taken place with mutual consent. One should not blame or hold parents responsible. A guy fro Valencia acts so smart that as if he grew up in a very controlled manner by his parents and never took any out of the way acts. Valencia born boys have their own boundries and can over take any areas in their a tivities. If others write its nonsense and if he suggests its visionary! Needs some treatment for su h syndrome.

"Selective amnesia"; in fact, the majority of the community shows only artificial cohesiveness in public gatherings like wedding functions and religious rituals, otherwise they are one of the #1 backstabbers and full of jealousy and competition ! BTW; one big endemic reality is that most of them thrive on brokerage businesses (not restricted to realty deals alone, but any and every deal right from cradle to the grave... and beyond... irrespective of their relationship 😔

Sir are you kidding? Counselling by thotte unpad goondas?? They themselves require serious counselling about their immoral activities. All sena people should join the army. There cannot be sena all over the country, it is 'one nation one sena' - The proud Indian Army all can join and serve the Nation instead of creating unrest in the civilised society

Enigmatic disappearance indeed... She has probably gone to visit her relatives or gone as part of her work... While police will look into all aspects love jihad angle seems a bit remote here... After learning about her news on media channels she will definitely resurface with a story for all of us....
