Mangaluru: Churchill Rockerz Bajjodi and ICYM Bajjodi organizes blood donation camp

Mangaluru, Mar 24: Churchill Rockerz Bajjodi and ICYM Bajjodi in association with the Indian Red Cross Society organized a blood donation camp on March 24, at Infant Mary Church Hall, Bajjodi. A total of 54 blood donors donated their valuable blood in the camp. 

The camp was inaugurated by the parish priest of Infant Mary Church, Bajjodi Fr Dominic Vas, who spoke about the importance of blood in a human Body and why do we need to Donate. 

Praveen Suvarna, incharge of the Indian Red Cross Society was also present and provided a message on the requirement and shortage of blood supply in the city of Mangaluru.  

The nursing staff of Lady Goshen Hospital also helped and assisted in the smooth functioning of the Camp.  

The members of Churchill Rockerz and ICYM Bajjodi provided their tireless service in the organising and functioning of the camp.

We also thank all the donors for making this camp a successful one by donating their valuable blood. The collected blood will go a long way in saving lives and supporting healthcare facilities in the community.
