Udupi: Graduation Ceremony of senior students of Don Bosco Kindergarten School held

Udupi, Mar 25: The graduation ceremony of the senior students of Don Bosco Kindergarten School was held at a solemn ceremony in the school auditorium recently.

Fr Clive Telles, provincial of the Salesian Province of Panjim presided over the convocation programme. Helen D'Silva, retired principal of Government Nursing School, Mysuru was the chief guest. Present on the dias were Fr Maxim D'Souza, rector & principal, Fr Roshan D'Souza, administrator and Fr Bryce Rodrigues, the vice principal.

The main ceremony of the convocation was ushered in immediately after the performances by the students of all three classes of Kindergarten School. The Convocation Hats were donned on the graduating students and the achievement reports were handed over to the Students by Fr Clive, Helen and Fr Maxim.

Fr Clive, in his presidential address, spoke of the imporance of both mind and heart. It is not only important to train our minds by studying a lot but we should also develop affective qualities that make us better human beings. He appreciated the lively spirit present in the campus and the many activities that help the children to grow. The Chief Guest, Helen spoke highly about the School and its healthy environment.

Fr Maxim, in his vote of thanks, appreciated the Kindergarten teachers and the helpers for their committed work throughout the year and especially for working hard to prepare the students for the beautiful Convocation Ceremony.

The parents who were present on the occasion epxressed their joy and happiness in the educative quality and the overall environemnt of the school. They appreciated the teachers for the hard work put in.
