Mangaluru, Apr 20: The graduation ceremony for the PCMC and PCME batches of the second PU students of Expert PU College, Valachil, was held on April 20 at the conference hall of the college. Prof Narendra L Nayak, chairman, Expert Group of Institutions presided over the function. Addressing the outgoing students he said, “Everything you have experienced in the college is a part the education and you will realize the value of the two years of your stay at Expert in the later stage of your life. Do everything passionately with discipline."
Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice chairperson, Expert Group of Institutions, in her keynote address called on the students to step out of the campus with lot of sweet memories and come back to their alma mater with lots of love and respect. She also urged them to remain connected with the college always. She appreciated the hard work of the outgoing students and wished them a bright future.
Dr N K Vijayan Karippal, principal of the college spoke on this occasion. There was a presentation on the indelible memories of the students and time spent in the college which evoked great nostalgia.
The students' representatives Rohit Panchamukhy, N B Thanisha, Mohammad Affan Dumba, Sonika Kalgutkar and Rohan Hebbale shared their experiences and expressed profound gratitude to the institution.
Subramanya Udupa, vice principal (academics) welcomed the gathering. Nishatt Fathima of the department of chemistry compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
Ambika K P (Programme Director), Gurudath N, coaching head, Nikhitha Amin, CCA coordinator and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
High-tea was arranged to all at the end of the programme.
