Udupi: Youth from Bengaluru drowns at Malpe beach

Udupi, Apr 21: Tragedy struck at Malpe beach on Sunday, April 21, when a youth from Bengaluru, drowned while on a tour with his friends.

The deceased has been identified as Nagendra (21), native of Bengaluru.

Nagendra was visiting Malpe beach with five of his friends when the unfortunate incident occurred.

Local lifeguards and Eshwar Malpe were promptly alerted and rushed to the scene.

Nagendra was swiftly transported to a private hospital in Manipal, but despite efforts to save him, he tragically succumbed to the drowning incident.
