Mangaluru, Apr 24: St Agnes School CBSE hosted an informative session for grade 9 and 10 students on Learning Styles on March 26 in the school auditorium. The programme commenced with a spiritual touch, filled with enthusiasm and energy.

Dr Shwetha Kamath, the guest speaker, a freelance school counsellor and remedial educator, with a track record of engaging with over 4000 students, shared insights on helping students identify and overcome learning challenges.

She covered a range of goals and challenges for students, assisting them in recognizing their learning styles and making suitable choices. Encouraging the creation of personal vision boards with set goals and proactive approaches was emphasized. The crucial topic of procrastination was addressed, along with providing various techniques for effective time management. Tips on enhancing learning were also highlighted during this engaging session, which proved to be successful as students shared their thoughts.

Sumana welcomed and introduced the resource person, while Adithi Suresh Prabhu delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person for their interactive and informative session, to the principal for organizing the event, and to the students for their enthusiastic participation.

Students were thrilled to discover new methods to improve their study habits and enhance their academic performance. The interactive session delved into strategies for maintaining focus, staying organized, and seeking help when needed. The importance of self-care and stress management was underscored to ensure students maintain a healthy balance between their academic pursuits and personal well-being.
