Udupi, May 22: Chief electoral officer of Karnataka state Manoj Kumar Meena visited the votes counting center on Wednesday, May 22, at St Cicily’s educational institute, Brahmagiri and conducted an inspection.

The electoral officer inspected the strong room, CCTV watching centre and the police security at various stages and other security arrangements.

He obtained details of the preparations for counting of votes from the deputy commissioner and district election officer. He said that CCTVs should be installed for every two vote counting tables and the steps of the vote counting centre.

IGP Boralingaiah, SP Dr Arun K, additional DC Mamatha Devi G S and others were present.
