Mangaluru, Jun 9: The new Tulu movie 'Tudar' premiered its first show prior to its final release and received a positive response.

The premiere took place on Sunday, June 9, at Big Cinemas, Mangaluru. Wilson Rebello produced the movie, with Harish Shetty and Vidya Sampath as co-producers. Tejesh Poojary and Elton Mascarenhas directed the film. The story, screenplay, dialogues, and lyrics were written by Mohan Raj. Patson Pereira and Sayeesh Bharadwaj provided the music. Cinematography was handled by Chanthu Meppayuru, and Kartik Rai Adyanadka served as the production manager. Choreography was done by Vijeth R Nayak, editing by Ganesh Nirchal, and advertising design by Devi. The movie was shot over 35 days in Mangaluru and Udupi.

The hero of the movie, Siddharth H Shetty, expressed his joy, saying, "This movie is being premiered for the first time in Mangaluru prior to its final release on June 14. We are extremely happy to see people's response. Today, we have booked five screening halls at Big Cinemas, and we are happy to say that our show is house full. This movie is being released at multiple places across the district, and we hope people like our movie and support us."

The heroine of the movie, Deeksha Bhise, added, "This is my first Tulu movie. I didn't know the language, but I learned Tulu for this film. This is a very good movie, and viewers will definitely love it. We hope to receive good responses and support for new talent in the film industry. We are getting more on-spot bookings, and today there are five screenings happening here. The team has really helped me in learning the Tulu language."

When Daijiworld asked viewers for their review of the movie, many noted that the film is well-made and unlike other Tulu movies they have seen. Viewers claimed it is a fun and family-friendly movie with a good story. They also expressed happiness and wished that the film would run for more than 100 days.
