Bantwal: Remains of meat of animals dumped in roadside drain, complaint filed

Bantwal, Jun 18: Remains of animals that were slaughtered for meat, were found dumped into a roadside open drainage at Bolangadi of Melkar on Monday. A case in this connection is filed in Bantwal police station.

Bantwal station inspector Anant Padmanabha and PSI Ramakrishna rushed to the spot to prevent any untoward incident as the news spread rapidly. As they could not make out the animal of which the remains were found, they called a veterinarian doctor, who confirmed that they belong to that of goat, sheep and chicken.

Later, the police filed a suo moto case of dumping meat waste on roadside and are on the search of accused.
