Udupi, Jun 18: A blood donation camp was held at Moodlukatte College of Nursing in association with Indian Red Cross organization, Kundapur, as part of World Blood Transfusion Day in the college auditorium.

Y Sitaram Shetty, secretary Indian Red Cross Society, the chief guest, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and informed the students about the importance of blood donation and blood collection and purification.

Student Sharil Sara compered the programme, Nitya P welcomed and Bhagyashree was felicitated.

Sivaram Shetty, treasurer Indian Red Cross Society, Jennifer Frieda Menezes, principal, lecturers and students were present.
