Mangaluru: Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha visits Milagres Educational Institutions

Mangaluru, Jun 22: Milagres Educational Institutions, Mangaluru welcomed Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, bishop of Mangalore for a pastoral visit to the institution on June 22. An assembly of staff and students of the institution was organised at the roof top auditorium.

The bishop, while addressing the audience said, "Each one is a huge treasure". He appreciated the presence of school and PU students. He spoke about the importance of Education and encouraged students to come back to the alma mator after their studies.

On behalf of Milagres Educational Institutions, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, the bishop of Mangalore was felicitated.

Fr Michael Santhumayor, campus director of Milagres Institutions welcomed the gathering.

Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent, Milagres Educational Institutions, Sylvester A Mascarenhas, vice president, parish pastoral council, Milagres Church, Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes, principal, Milagres Central School were present on the dais.

This was followed by a meeting with the students of gladsome, heads of the institution and the staff members.

Ameefa Afreena, student of Milagres PU College compered and Melwin Vaz, principal, Milagres PU College rendered the vote of thanks.
