Bantwal/Beltangady, Jul 4: The tahsildar and block education officer (BEO) of Beltangady taluk has declared a holiday for all schools due to incessant rains.
In his statement, the tahsildar/BEO of Beltangady said, “Dear parents and students, due to incessant rains, a holiday is declared for all government, aided, unaided, primary, and high schools, as many students have to cross trenches, ponds, and hand bridges to reach school. Parents, please ensure that your children do not enter water bodies.”
Schools in Bantwal also have been given holiday due to incessant rains.
