Udupi, Jul 4: Due to the continued heavy rains in the district, the district administration has declared a holiday for educational institutions in Kundapur, Byndoor, and Brahmavar taluks on Thursday, July 5.
All Anganwadi centers, primary schools, high schools, and PUC institutions will remain closed.

However, ITI, degree colleges, diploma colleges, engineering colleges, and postgraduate classes will continue to function as usual.
The order was issued by Rashmi, assistant commissioner of Kundapur division.
