Udupi: Bus driver abandons passengers midway after argument with lover

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jul 5: In a bizarre incident that occurred in the city, a private bus driver halted the bus midway following an argument with his lover on board.

The private bus was transporting passengers from Udupi city to Santhekatte. At Nittoor, the bus driver's lover boarded the bus and began a verbal altercation. Despite the ongoing argument, the driver continued to drive. The conductor attempted to pacify the couple, but his efforts were in vain as they persisted in their heated exchange.

Frustrated, the driver eventually stopped the bus near Ashirwad Theatre, disembarked, and walked away. His lover also left the bus and departed.

The stranded passengers were left in a bind due to the conflict between the driver and his lover. Eventually, the conductor took over and drove the bus.

Really liked the efforts of the conductor. He was not only conductor but had driving skills.See the extra skill like driving never go waste. It helps us in one way or other.Otherwise everything would have been a mess. One side is the bus on the road and the other passangers.Thank God.

Good decision by the driver to stop and get down before doing something bad in this stressful situation and causing harm to others

Kevin mangalore ,even though it was a good decision to stop and go away ,leaving other passangers stranded.Conductor could call police or owner of bus.Thats not the way one has responsibility.Either put out the lover ,or dont arge with such thugs.Atleast conductor came as a help.what when noone could drive the bus?
