Mangaluru: Bearys Chamber of Commerce felicitates newly elected MLC Ivan D'Souza

Mangaluru, Jul 7: The Bearys Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held a felicitation ceremony for newly elected MLC Ivan D'Souza on Saturday, June 6, at The Ocean Pearl Hotel, Mangaluru.

Speaking on this occasion, Ivan D'Souza thanked the gathering and said, "The primary responsibility of people's representatives is to protect the rights of society and the voice of the people. I believe that the power we have should be used for society. I have been a voice of the community as an MLC. That's why I have been elected as an MLC for the second time."

Also present on this occasion, Dr SM Rashid Hajee, president of BCCI, said, "Ivan D'Souza is a leader who always responds to people's problems. The BCCI will support all the activities of the community and work for its development. In the coming days, the BCCI will take up massive investment and industrial projects and work for the development of the Byari community."

BCCI executive committee member Muthaz Ali Krishnapur welcomed the gathering, Rafiq compered the event, and Hafiz Hassan Ashiq Abdullah recited verses from the Quran.

Mohammad Imthiyaz, general secretary; Mansoor Ahmed, treasurer, and others were present.
