Kuwait, Jul 20: In a heartbreaking incident in Kuwait's Abbasiya area, a family from Kerala, India, tragically lost their lives in a fire that engulfed their apartment on the night of July 19.
Mathew Mulackal, employed with Reuters, his wife Lini Abraham, a dedicated staff nurse at Adan hospital, and their two children, Issac and Irine, perished in the blaze, which was said to have originated from an air conditioner unit.
The Mulackal family had just returned from vacation earlier that day.
Issac was a student in Grade 4 at Bhavans Kuwait, while his elder sister Irine was in Grade 9.
This devastating incident has cast a pall of grief over their community and serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictable nature of such tragedies.
