Mangaluru: Liturgical seminar held at St John the Baptist Church, Permude

Mangaluru, Jul 22: The liturgy commission organised the liturgical seminar at St John the Baptist Church, Permude. The director of Mangala Jyothi Fr Vijay Machado celebrated the holy eucharist and catechised the faithful regarding the holy eucharist.

The seminar was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by all the guests present for the programme. 

The chief guest Fr Vijay Machado in his inaugural speech insisted all the participants for their active participation in the holy eucharist and highlighted the importance of liturgical years (A,B,C) guidelines which are to be followed. The president Fr Ronald Pinto, parish priest thanked all the participants and explained the importance of active participation in the liturgy by the responsible people.

Pascal D'Souza compered the programme. Flavy Pereira the Liturgy commission coordinator welcomed the gathering. Justin Fernandes the Liturgy commission secretary thanked all. Henry Dcunha vice president, Dolphy Pinto secretary, Vinod Pinto 21 commission's coordinator were present for the programme.
