Mangaluru: Little Jivika Sanvi battling deadly disease, needs financial help to survive

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Jul 30: Jivika Sanvi, barely 7 years old, is fighting for her life as she suffers from blood cancer. A year ago, she fell ill, and during her medical examination, her parents discovered she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a disease that starts in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow.

Doctors at Kasturba Hospital in Manipal have recommended treatment with FLA and Venetoclax, as well as a bone marrow transplant. She also requires regular specialized treatment. The entire therapy costs Rs 10 lac.

Sanvi's parents come from an economically poor background and cannot afford the treatment expenses. They live in a rented house in Pachanady, Mangaluru. Sanvi's father, Dinesh, has requested Daijiworld readers to help him save his daughter's life.
