Beltangady: Holy Redeemer English medium school celebrates Patron's Day

Beltangady, Aug 12: Holy Redeemer English medium school, celebrated the feast of its patron with great enthusiasm and devotion, on August 8. Holy mass of patron's feast was celebrated in the church.

The occasion was graced by Fr Roshan Crasta, parish priest of St Raphael's Church and director of Fr L M Pinto Memorial Hospital, Badyar as the chief guest. correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello presided the program. Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto, parish pastoral council secretary Gilbert Pinto and Br Aldrick of Carmalite congregation from Ashadeep, Madanthyar were the guests of honour.

The formal celebration began with a solemn prayer service to shower God's blessings. Student Ayesha Hashmida welcomed the gathering whole heartedly. Student Apeksha narrated the importance of Patron's day wonderfully.

Beautifully decorated statue of the parton was venerated by, the chief guest by lighting the vigil lamp, correspondent by putting the garland, headmaster by performing arathi, while other guests and all staff members and school leaders paid floral tribute.

Entire programme was wonderfully organised by the student’s class 8A and class 5, under the guidance of teachers Preetha D'Souza and Mary Suja. Students added more charm to the celebration through their vibrant dance performances and meaningful skit.

Chief guest addressed the students to accomplish great things in life. Correspondent gave a message on need of having a patron. Headmaster gave greetings of the Patron's feast.

Student Eon D'Souza thanked all the helping hands. Student Fathima Afriza compered the programme. The programme concluded by singing the school anthem to the beats of music.
