Kundapur, Aug 13: IMJ Science and Commerce organised 12-day induction programme organized for the fresh batch and was inaugurated.
The programme was inaugurated by the students by lighting the diyas and initiating the students, prayer song of the IMJ institutions was also released on the occasion by the guests.
ASN Hebbar, senior advocate and writer was the chief guest for the programme. Speaking on the occasion he said, “Indian tradition and culture has a rich heritage, our forefathers had vast knowledge in the field of technology and medicine before any other country in the world."
Dr Rajashekaran Pillai, professor, Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration MAHE Manipal speaking on the occasion said, "With modern new technology, we also need to grow fast, students should realize the value of money and adopt a life of self-esteem at this stage. Parents are like a mirror to students and their experience should be a beacon for children. If students remember these experiences while shaping their lives, they will be successful in life. Parents and teachers recognize the latent talent of students and guide them. should be given."
Dr Radhakrishna Hegde, brand building director of the college called the students to bring laurels to the institution by receiving good and quality education during the study tenure.
Pratibha M Patel, principal presided over the programme, in her address she said, “Our goal is to fulfil the dreams of students but you as students have to achieve it with hard work and dedication."
Jayasheela Kumar, vice principal welcomed the gathering. Vaishnavi Shenoy, commerce department faculty introduced the guests. Revathi, faculty department of Kannada proposed the vote of thanks. Rakshitha Adiga, faculty of department of mathematics compered the programme.
