Mangaluru, Oct 7: Bank of Maharashtra has officially inaugurated its first dedicated housing finance branch in Mangaluru, a significant enhancement to financial services in the region. The ceremony took place at the Lotus Paradise Alite building in Kodialbail, with Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld Media, lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Prominent figures in attendance included Allen C A Pereira, former chairman and managing director of Bank of Maharashtra; Sucheth D'Souza, zonal head for the Hubballi zone; Abhinav Srivastava, branch manager of the new housing finance branch; and Bharath Naik, CPC incharge, Hubballi.
In his opening remarks, Sucheth D'Souza expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, "We are happy to announce our exclusive housing finance branch in Mangaluru. Traditional branches handle a wide array of financial services, which can sometimes lead to inconvenience for clients seeking in-depth discussions about their housing finance options. This dedicated branch allows clients to engage with us solely regarding their housing plans, including renovations and takeovers."
Sucheth D'Souza also revealed plans for further expansion, with three new branches set to open soon in Pumpwell, Puttur, and Surathkal Mukka. He emphasised the bank's commitment to helping Mangaluru residents realise their dreams of homeownership.
Walter Nandalike remarked on the significance of the new branch, noting, "Mangaluru is a rapidly growing city, and financial institutions like Bank of Maharashtra have immense potential here. Owning a home in Mangaluru is a dream for many, and this housing finance branch will provide essential support to those looking to achieve that dream. I thank the entire management of Bank of Maharashtra and its housing finance division for choosing Mangaluru for their services. This initiative will undoubtedly benefit many."
The new housing finance branch is designed to provide specialised services for housing finance needs, reinforcing the bank's dedication to serving the local community.
