Bengaluru, Nov 1: St Joseph's University's entrepreneurship cell, in association with the Public Relations Office, hosted 'Start-Up Mela 4.0' and the launch of the St Joseph's University's Institution's Innovation Council.
This milestone event was inaugurated by the distinguished chief guest Dr Raj Waghray, head, entrepreneurship (STEM) cell, Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development (FSID), Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and D P V Venkitakrishnan, scientist & former director, ISRO on 28th October 2024, at the University Grounds, Bengaluru.
This year's Start-Up Mela 4.0 showcased over about 100 start-ups from diverse sectors and featured over 10 venture capitalists, offering a unique platform for innovation, networking, and growth. The event fostered entrepreneurial spirit, connecting budding entrepreneurs with potential investors, and inspiring students to explore career opportunities in the start-up ecosystem.
The event also marked the launch of the Institution's Innovation council at St Joseph's University, with the aim to promote innovation, startup culture, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members. The event was open to the public, students, faculties, and start-up enthusiasts who attended and engaged with the innovative minds driving India's future. The event was organized under the leadership of Devansh Mehta, final year BCA student of SJU and his team.
