Mangaluru: Moving jeep catches fire in Falnir, no casualties

Mangaluru, Nov 27: A moving jeep suddenly caught fire in Falnir on Wednesday night, causing panic but resulting in no casualties.

The fire reportedly broke out while the vehicle was in motion. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

Firefighters from the Pandeshwar fire station rushed to the spot and successfully extinguished the blaze.

The incident caused a temporary disruption in traffic in the area, but normalcy was restored soon after.

    Poor quality of fuel oil lines, specially injector return line are rubber one to reduce the manufacturing cost. Periodic replacement required as rubber hoses become brittle due to temperature in side engine compartment. Small spillage of this leaked fuel oil on the red hot exhaust manifold can create unexcepted fire.
