Mangaluru: Alumni get-together of St Agnes' 1964 high school batch held

Mangaluru, Dec 2: The alumni of the 1964 SSLC batch gathered at their alma mater St Agnes High School on Saturday November 30. It was a memorable reunion filled with nostalgia and a spirit of coming home. The headmistress Sr Gloria welcomed them amicably.

The alumni had an interesting interaction with the students of class 10. They reminisced their school days and paid homage to the school teachers who were the true architects of their successful life. They contributed generously towards the education of the poor and the needy students.

A collection of books authored by Shyamala, the alumnus, was presented to the school library. They even distributed sweets to the class 10 students, creating a joyous and festive atmosphere. The students were delighted and motivated by the alumni’s stories of success and perseverance. Their heartfelt speeches left a lasting impression on both the students and the staff. Enid Fernandes, Usha Shetty, Sanmathi, Carmine Pinto, Cynthia Sequiera, Cynthia Pinto, Lucy Martis, Jesline D’Silva and Lorna D’Silva gathered together to celebrate the diamond jubilee.
