Moodbidri, Dec 3: Carmel School hosted its Annual Management Inspection, a two-day event dedicated to evaluating the school’s progress across eight critical aspects outlined by the management on October 23 and 24. These included curriculum, co-curriculum, infrastructure, human resources, inclusive practices in education, best practices and more. The inspection served as a platform to assess achievements, identify areas for growth and celebrate the school’s dedication to fostering excellence.
A Distinguished Inspection Committee: The inspection was conducted by a panel of esteemed educators Dr Vijaya, retired professor, St Ann’s College of Education, Mangaluru.
Anitha Gomes, retired teacher, St Mary’s High School, Mangaluru and Sr Lydia, former principal of St Ann’s College of Education and provincial councillor for education were also in the panel.
The event commenced with a vibrant inauguration program led by the students. The highlights included, A graceful welcome dance setting the tone for the day. An inspiring welcome speech by the principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC. A creative and engaging skit and news reading that showcased the students’ talents in an innovative manner. Sr Lydia, in her address to the students, shared key takeaways: Trust in Divine Assistance, Faith and Individuality, Helping Others, Continuous Growth, Excellence in Action. Always do your best and be the best version of yourself.
The inspection team meticulously evaluated the school’s documents, presentations and activities. Meetings were held with representatives from various stakeholder groups, including students, parents, teachers and members of the PTA. A detailed powerpoint presentation further elaborated on the school’s achievements, challenges and vision.
The committee provided detailed feedback and appreciated the efforts of the school community.
The management inspection concluded as a learning experience for everyone involved. It was a moment of pride for the school to receive validation for its efforts and encouragement to reach greater heights. The event not only reflected the school’s achievements but also reinforced its commitment to nurturing an environment of faith, inclusivity and excellence.
