NCC cadet Nirbhay Shetty of Gurukula Public School selected for prestigious Republic Day Camp 2025

Kundapura, Dec 30: CSM Nirbhay U Shetty, a cadet from 75B/104/21 TP, Gurukula Public School, 21 Kar BN NCC, Udupi, has been selected to represent 21 Kar BN NCC Udupi and the Karnataka & Goa Directorate at the Republic Day Camp 2025 in New Delhi.

Nirbhay’s journey, marked by exceptional dedication and hard work, began with his first camp and progressed through Pre-RDC I and III, showcasing his unwavering commitment to excellence. This achievement is especially significant, as Nirbhay becomes the first cadet in several years from the Karnataka & Goa Directorate to represent the senior division, marking a proud moment for the Udupi Battalion.

This remarkable feat was made possible through consistent encouragement at every stage, with the Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, and associate NCC officer Venkata Krishna all playing a crucial role in instilling confidence in Nirbhay. Their collective support was essential in nurturing his perseverance and dedication.

The joint executive administrators of the school, Subhash Chandra Shetty and Anupama S Shetty, congratulated Nirbhay on his achievement and expressed their best wishes for his future endeavours. They remarked, “Nirbhay’s determination proves that with hard work and perseverance, one can achieve anything. His success will serve as an inspiration for other students to aim higher and strive for excellence.”
